Alpine Air's fleet comprises 16 Beech 99s and 12 Beech 1900Cs. The airplanes are completely refurbished by Alpine's mechanics whose task includes replacing glass windows with metal panels to lighten the structure. Interiors are pulled out and replaced with cargo systems throughout the cabin. The airplanes are then measured for weight and balance prior to being placed in operation.

Each B-1900C aircraft, according to Alpine CEO, Gene Mallette, is capable of carrying a 6,000 pound payload cheaper than any other air cargo aircraft in its class.  The B-99 carries a payload of approximately 3200 pounds.
